TheJabal Sayid copperoperation is located 350 kilometers north-east of Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It’s a 50/50 joint venture operation with Ma’aden. The first shipment ofcopperconcentrate occurred in December 2015, and theminecommenced commercial production in July 2016.

Three styles of mineralisation have been identified atJabal Sayid:stockwork zones, massive sulphides and sulphide breccia. Four separate mineralised lodes (Lodes 1, 2, 3 and 4) located within a northeast-trending corridor 1.2 kilometre long and between 200 and 700 metres wide have been identified.

Jabal Sayidis a volcanic hosted massive sulphide (“VHMS”) system, lying within the Asir volcanic arc. The area is arid and mountainous. Two layers of volcanic rocks form the top of the structure with local deformation resulting in large folds filled with granite complexes.
